I apologise to my wonderful and extremely patient readers for my delay in releasing BloodWish. As many of you know, I am a full time carer for my mum, who's recently undergone a series of operations - several heart procedures and a double hip replacement. That has taken a toll on my writing time.
But, when I look at the bigger picture, my mum is more important to me than completing a piece of fiction, for I only have a limited time with her.
A book can be written anytime, and it lasts forever.
Yet, saying that, BloodWish will definitely be completed THIS year. I'm more than three-quarters of the way through. And since I write all my own books - every word, line, paragraph and page - I take care to produce the best possible story and reading experience for my readers, and which is why I never rush them.
My readers are too dear to me to give them anything less than my best.
So, please hang in there and be patient with me just a little while longer
Be kind to yourself, Tima.
I’m currently caring for my elderly dad and it’s such a big responsibility to love and care for a parent.
Your priorities are absolutely right. x
Thank you, hon. It is hard, but our parents won’t be with us forever, so I want to make the most of the time with my mum. I wish you all the best in caring for your dad. Hugs from me xxx
You’re 100% correct. Your mom is so much more important than a book. I am definitely patient for your writing. I love you and your books and I wouldn’t be a true fan if I was impatient or upset about Bloodwish not out yet. Perfection takes time. ????????
That’s so lovely of you, thank you, dear Viki. I’m slowly getting through it, stealing time whenever I can, so it’s growing and heading for the finish line.
